This blog was created as a teaching source for my students in 2008 and it became their blog as I posted their own contributions to it. It is always in the making and it'll belong to all my new and old students for them to improve it, use it and enjoy it; as well as for all the EOI students who might wish to visit it. Look out for the entries referred to radio programmes and websites for learning English, I'll always keep them there for your use and enjoyment.
One of my favorites expressions is when you said "something like that"...In fact, I use it very often! What is yours, Judtih??
ReplyDeleteI think everyone acquires favourite expressions or vocabulary when they learn a foreign language. A spanish friend of mine really loved the phrase "In addition...", which I never quite understood myself!!
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of very nice expressions in English though.
hehe :)
ReplyDeleteI love the "no way!", but also the sufix "-ever", whatever, whenever, whoever and so on. Or "I agree with you up to a point". Actually, I like loads of them. I'm just hoping to be able to use them properly :).
Hey!, I've just remembered the "awesome!!" !! And one of the first colloquial words I'd learnt was "he's sooo cute!" ;-) And then started listening to it to describe either clothes or people :)
