  2. I think everyone acquires favourite expressions or vocabulary when they learn a foreign language. A spanish friend of mine really loved the phrase "In addition...", which I never quite understood myself!!

    There are a lot of very nice expressions in English though.

    I love the "no way!", but also the sufix "-ever", whatever, whenever, whoever and so on. Or "I agree with you up to a point". Actually, I like loads of them. I'm just hoping to be able to use them properly :).
    Hey!, I've just remembered the "awesome!!" !! And one of the first colloquial words I'd learnt was "he's sooo cute!" ;-) And then started listening to it to describe either clothes or people :)
