It was eleven at night in a cold street of Paris. A man was running followed by a gendarme. The name of that mas was Jean Pierre and he had already robbed an old lady coming back home. Jean Pierre was not a bad man, but his life had not been so easy. Stealing was the only way to eat everyday. But that time, his luck had changed. Just as he was leaving, a police patrol was driving along that street and the persecution began.
Suddenly, he arrived to a dead end where the only open door was from a monastery. He went in and closed the door. Luckily for him, the "holly asylum" was in force in that time, so he was safe.
Once inside, Jean Pierre looked for some valuables and then run away from that place . He was been ready to go away, when he was caught by the abbot. He talked to him for hours and finally gave Jean Pierre two options: First, he could escape and continue with his life , or to work for the monastery as a gardener and try to change his ways. He did not think twice and he accepted the job. Anything but going back to the street.
Jean Pierre stayed there for four years. During that time, he reflected on his own life and he turned into the good man he had always been. A hopeful man that believed in the good people of this world.

Good and happy ending. I like it! I wish we try to put this into practise nowdays! But you never know in who you can trust in or not.
