PROPOSAL SAMPLE BY A C1 STUDENT

PROPOSAL TO IMPROVE THE STUDENT LIBRARY
To the Head of Valladolid Language School

INTRODUCTION
The student library is an important part of the Language School. It is a place where students can give their language learning process a boost. The aim of this proposal, therefore, is to improve the resources and facilities by using a small budget in order to carry out the following suggestions:

ELECTRICITY AND LIGHTING
I strongly believe that more sockets are needed. Nowadays, technology helps us with everything and learning a language is no exception. Smartphones and laptops are powerful tools to work with, but utterly useless if they run out of charge. Furthermore, I would like to recommend replacing the regular light bulbs with LED bulbs. This little change will save energy and money in the long term.

OUTSIDE AREAS
Many students come to the School by bicycle or motorbike carrying helmets, backpacks, bags, etc. For this reason, I think that it would be helpful if we provide them with lockers where they could keep all their personal belongings. In addition, it would also be beneficial if we install vending machines for coffee, sweets and snacks next to the lockers. In this way, students who are in a hurry or just want to take a break from books could do so.

CONCLUSION
I hope that the proposed improvements could be applied in the upcoming weeks. Money should not be a problem since these recommendations are not really that expensive and they might have a very positive impact. To summarise, these ideas would make the library a more welcoming and comfortable space for everyone.
